37) Mike Ditka

Mike Ditka redefined the tight end position, raising the bar from it being a blocking position to a pass catching position.

I also heard from legendary tight end and coach Mike Ditka, a man who doesn’t respond to a lot of fan mail. Ditka redefined the tight end position as a player, being the first to receive catches. Before Ditka, the tight end position was solely another blocking position. Ditka went on to be the head coach of arguably the greatest NFL team of all time, the 1985 Chicago Bears.


Ditka offered his prayers, and his hopes for a complete recovery. Thank you so much, Iron Mike!!! Flattered and honored to receive a response!
