17) Dick LeBeau

Legendary player and coach Dick LeBeau still ranks among the top cornerbacks on the all-time interceptions list DECADES after his retirement.

Later in September, I heard from a man who was a master of both playing and coaching, Class of 2010 Pro Football Hall of Famer, Dick LeBeau. One of the greatest cornerbacks in NFL history, LeBeau still ranks in the top five amongst cornerbacks on the all-time interceptions list 40 years after his retirement. LeBeau went on to become a legendary coach as well, transitioning to one of the best defensive minds in the game. Despite never reaching the big game as a player, LeBeau had experience coaching in a total of six of them, winning two of those in 2006 and 2009 with the Steelers.

Always one to answer fan mail, LeBeau offered his prayers. I offer a thank you and all the best in return to Mr. LeBeau. Thank you so much for being so humble to us fans all these years!!!!
