14) Anthony Munoz

Anthony Munoz, arguably the greatest offensive tackle in NFL history, had some words of faith for me.

In August, I heard from the man widely considered to be the greatest offensive tackle in NFL history, with eleven consecutive Pro Bowls and nine All-Pro honors, Anthony Munoz.

Despite having three knee injuries in college at USC, which caused him to see only one game his senior season, the Bengals drafted him third overall in 1980, and he only ended up missing three games due to injury in the first twelve years of his career. Munoz went on to become of several Hispanic members of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, and was another unanimous selection to the NFL 100th Anniversary All-Time Team, as well as ranked the 12th greatest player of all time in the NFL Network’s 2010 Top 100 of All-Time list.

A devout Christian, Munoz asked the Lord to be with me, and continue to watch over me. Thank you for your prayers, Anthony!!!!!

I also made a donation on August 2, 2020 to the Anthony Munoz Foundation.

I invite anyone who may be interested in donating to the Anthony Munoz Foundation to do so at https://www.munozfoundation.org/
