45) Billy Shaw

Billy Shaw was the first HOF inductee to play his entire career in the AFL.

I also heard from the first Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee to play his entire career in the original AFL, rather than the NFL, Billy Shaw. Billy was one of the greatest run blockers of his era, having an uncanny ability to just pull out in front of runners, and was a great pass blocker as well.

I thank Billy very much for his kind words, as well as mentioning Prov. 3:6, which is “In all thy ways acknowledge the Lord, and he shall direct thy paths”. It is interesting to also know that Mr. Shaw lived in Vidalia, the “sweet onion” capital of the world, in Louisiana for a decade.
