42) Dan Reeves

Dan Reeves is certainly no stranger to the big game…he spent nearly 1/4 of his years playing and coaching in the NFL being in that year’s big game.

Late in January, I heard from a legendary NFL head coach who was another 2020 Centennial class nominee, as well as a man who has been very responsive to my occasional email over the past few years, Dan Reeves. This NFL personality has been involved with more appearances in that final big game (I can’t say the name of it, or the NFL will come after me with a lawsuit, lol) appearances than anyone in NFL history, nine…Reeves played in two of them as a player with the Cowboys, was an assistant coach for the Cowboys in three of their appearances, and led the Broncos as a head coach to three, and the Falcons to one. Think about that…in nearly 38 years of playing and coaching in the NFL, Dan Reeves was, in almost a fourth of those years, involved in that year’s big game. Reeves is also eighth on the all-time NFL coaching wins list, with 190.

I will be forever grateful to Dan for putting me on his prayer list for his church, and taking the time that he has out for us fans!
